We host private functions for groups from around 10 to 80 - milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirement dinners, corporate lunches, and celebrations that just need a good table and great food. Our vine-covered courtyard and two indoor spaces work beautifully depending on the size of your group and what the occasion calls for. We also cater offsite across the region if you'd prefer to celebrate closer to home.
When it comes to food, we work with you to find the format that fits. Cocktail-style events can be built around canapés, a grazing table, or a combination of both from $30 per person. For something more relaxed and convivial, a shared feast brings generous plates to the table and takes care of itself from there from $45 per person. Or if the occasion calls for a proper sit-down dinner, we offer two and three course plated menus from $65 per person. Corporate lunches from $55 per person.
Stewart designs every function menu personally. There's no off-the-shelf package - he works around your group, the occasion, and anything you'd particularly love on the table. If you have a favourite dish, a wine you want to open, or something that matters to your guests, just tell us.

weddings at pickled sisters
Weddings at Pickled Sisters - small, personal, and done properly.
We specialise in smaller, more intimate weddings - the kind where the food is genuinely talked about and the day feels like you. Set in the heart of the Rutherglen wine region, right on Main Street and close to local accommodation, we have a vine-covered courtyard perfect for champagne on arrival, an enclosed garden space with lush greenery, and a restaurant with warmth and character. Each space seats up to 50 guests, or combine them for something a little larger.
We do weddings differently to a lot of venues. There's no package you pick from a list - Stewart sits down with you, finds out what you love, and builds the menu around that. Whether you want canapés and grazing on arrival followed by a relaxed shared feast, or a beautifully plated sit-down dinner, it starts with a conversation and ends with food that actually feels like yours. Dietary requirements, a dish that means something to you, a wine you've been saving - just tell us.
Venue hire includes all linens plus full setup and pack down. Table styling and florals can be arranged at an additional cost, and we're happy to point you toward people we trust if you need them.
